Cataclysm Improves Talent Trees For Rogues

Almost every class in World of Warcraft had seen some changes and improvements in their talent trees. These changes affected the entire gameplay and forced everyone to tweak some of their previously effective strategies. Although some of the things got better, there are also some that didn’t work so well, and we can all hope that the next version would give a break to some of the classes. Now we will talk about the Rogue class. I know a lot of gamers are familiar with this class, and Cataclysm gave 5 new talents for Rogues. These simply improved and made this class a threat to almost anyone if built properly and given the right glyphs. It can dominate raids and PvP battle in a breeze.
  • The first talent is the Bandit’s Guile. This great talent will grant you additional 15% bonus for damage for a few seconds. After the effects wears off, all you have to do is to attack another enemy to activate it again. If you want to get the full potential of this talent, it will require you to switch between targets to keep the buff active.
  • The Murderous Intent is the next talent on the list. This is included in the Assassination Talent trees. The purpose of this is to help finish off your enemy. It grants you 30 energy every time you’ll use Backstab on your fleeing enemy whose health is below 35%. With this, you can backstab your enemy several times more with this additional energy. Just have a few more crits and you can do powerful combos on your opponent, leaving them dead on the ground.
  • The third talent is the Overkill. What it does is it increases by 30% your energy regeneration for 20 seconds after you break your stealth. This skill combined with Murderous Intent will surely leave no way for a low health fleeing enemy to escape alive. Another way to use this skill is to go stealth to get near your unknowing enemy, then use Overkill, backstab and Murderous Intent. He’ll never know what hit him until its too late to flee.
  • Another Assassination talent on the list is Vendetta. It increases or amplifies the damage taken by your opponent for 20 seconds. Use this with Overkill giving you faster energy regeneration with damage bonus of up to 20%.
  • A talent that can enhance you energy regeneration by 25% is Vitality. Combine this with Combat Potency and you’ll have more than enough energy to spam all your skills.
These are just an overview of these new skills for Rogues which I know can be used for a lot more purposes. Although each talent/skill is great and powerful, it is still important that you know how to manage each skill and level them accordingly. There is not one skill that can finish off an enemy (especially Paladins), so you need to know how to use them and give your character the proper spec it needs.  Manaview Edge is created to address these concerns and will just a simple instructions, you can find your way on the top of your game.
